So you find yourself in that situation when you are in bed trying to fall asleep and can’t do it. Out of nowhere these ideas pop into your head. You think you could make a pretty good article out of them and the article actually begins writing itself.
You remain amazed while you can hear the first paragraph and then the second and then … something happens.
What is it?
One particular phrase gets your attention. It’s new and unexplored and almost feels like somebody else said it, not you! Oh, I know! It’s a message from the subconscious. Thus a new dilemma arises that calls for introspection and promises important insights and of course a feeling of personal growth.
Let’s recap! You began by thinking at this article and end up with a dilemma that calls for soul searching. And all that because writing has had such an impact on you that even at night you can’t ignore it.
What happens next?
You’re in bed and you’re caught between the need to find an answer to your questions and the fear of forgetting the beginning of your article. What to do? Well… you can’t possibly stay in bed when you have a brand new promising article floating around in your mind and waiting to rest on a piece of paper. You can’t possibly ignore that!
You have to get out of bed and put the words at rest. You begin writing and you just can’t stop.
Sometimes while writing, your dilemma solves itself and you suddenly make this huge breakthrough. What you are doing there and then is more then writing! It’s actually a healing process that helps you grow up.
Other times … it’s enough to let all the words come out as they want to, relax and go back to bed. Somehow in the next day you can clearly see the solution to your dilemma or the path you have to take to solve it.
So now … in the middle of the night, when all the words came out I seat and wounder what else can writing do for me?
Oh well … I will probably find out tomorrow!
